Silpat Roul' Pat Perfect Pastry Jumbo Size is a non-stick countertop workstation mat. This mat has been designed to be as multi-functional as possible and can be used as a complete solution to your baking mat needs. Use it to create just about anything your heart desires. The Perfect Pastry mat is similar in design to the original Silpat non-stick baking Mat, but it has a specially formulated backside design, which prevents it from slipping or moving around on countertops and work surfaces. Ideal for working with messy creations. Dimensions and rulers on mat help ensure you get dough to just the right size of your recipe. Mat measures 23" x 31.5". Please do not use as a baking mat - not an ovensafe product. Sasa Demarle Inc. was founded in 1965 by M. Guy Demarle in Northern France. Mr. Demarle was an experienced baker who was seeking a better way to make baguette bread with forms using non-stick silicone coatings. He went on to invent the first non-stick baguette baking trays or filets, as they are known in France. A few years later, Mr. Demarle also went on to invent and create the original Silpat and is known around the world as the original non-stick baking liner. Since then, we continue to strive for improvements in non-stick products for the baking, patisserie and food-service industries.
