Easy to use 100g of nutrient agar powder, which is more than enough to pour 150 to 200 agar plates. Make agar and pour your own plates, which is fun and a great learning experience. This is an excellent product to learn about science and great for science fair projects. Pour a thick coat of nutrient agar! Add 23 g of nutrient agar powder to 1 Liter of water. 2. Boil the mixture and stir until the agar is completely dissolved and melted. 3. Carefully pour your agar into petri dishes (not included) and wait several hours for the agar to solidify. 4. Test different items. 5. Gently wipe the samples onto the surface of the agar plate. 6. Close the lid and turn the plate upside down so that the lid is on the bottom and agar is on the top. 7. Warm plates at 84-100°F using a portable heater or a desk lamp. Keep a thermometer nearby. 8.
