Glowshift's 16mm Temperature Sensor Hose Adapter is the ideal accessory for anyone looking to install an oil, transmission or coolant temperature sensor and gauge to monitor their car or truck's corresponding temperature levels. This oil, transmission and water coolant temperature sensor hose adapter is designed for compatibility with hoses that are made of rubber and have an inner diameter of 16mm or 5/8". Oil, transmission and water sensor adapters also simplify the installation process by allowing you to easily install your sensor without the need of making any major modifications to your vehicle. Simply locate a relatively straight section of the hose measuring 5/8" and make a clean cut through the line. Once installed, your sensor will be positioned to sit in the flow of fluid. Each oil, transmission and water temp sensor hose adapter is crafted from aluminum and features a 1/8-27 NPT fitting for your compatible sender. With a few easy steps this adapter will be installed and you'll be able to take effective temperature readings. Included with your purchase are (2) hose clamps which secure the line to the heater hose temperature sensor adapter. These clamps will firmly tighten to the hose, ensuring the adapter has a leak-tight seal.
