About Steelmax SM-BM16-45C Portable Beveling Machine With
The Steelmax BM16 is a light-weight, portable beveling machine for flat, curved or rolled plate. Also produces accurate OD and ID bevels on pipe, countersinks/chamfers bolt holes (minimum diameter of -9/16"). Interchangeable chamfer and radius milling heads utilize index able inserts enabling beveling at 22. 5°, 30°, 37. 5°, 45° and 60°, and cutting radius edges of 3, 4 and 5 mm. The BM 16 has a simple bevel width adjustment, motor overload protection and electronic speed control for use on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
