3.Thermal stability: polyvinyl alcohol will soften when heated, and there will be no obvious change below 40 °C. If it is heated for a long time above 160 °C, it will gradually color. When it is above 220 °C, it will decompose and generate water, acetic acid, acetaldehyde and butylene.
