The plate has a fixed 30 degree F/-34.4 degree C surface temperature to freeze samples quickly and reduce processing time. The stainless-steel plate and plate cover are durable and resist corrosion. A plate cover protects the working surface while not in use. Working surface dimensions are 14.5 x 9.4 inches/36.8 x 23.8cm (W x D, where W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back) to accommodate multiple samples.
