  • These tryptic soy agar plates are manufactured in the USA. Useful for performing colony counts for bacteria, yeast, and fungi. Prepared in accordance with USP< 62>. This product is for in vitro diagnostic use only.

  • Durable, optically transparent polystyrene minimizes breakage during transportation. The Petri plates include raised rings to enable stacking and prevent slipping.

About Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA), USP, A General Growth

Hardy Diagnostics Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA), USP is recommended for use as a general growth medium for the detection and enumeration of microorganisms from non clinical samples (except G60, G60BX, and J330) as specified by the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP). In addition, the medium complies with the harmonized European, U.S. and Japanese Pharmacopoeias for determining the microbial quality of non sterile products. This medium is also recommended for use in the cultivation, storage, maintenance, and transportation of pure cultures of microorganisms. The Hardy Diagnostics manufacturing facility and quality management system comply with cGMP's and have achieved ISO 13485 certification as a medical device manufacturer.
