It's suggested to be at least 96 LEDs per meter to achieve a dotless effect, otherwise, the dots might still be visible. • The inner width of U107 LED housing is 0.5"(12mm), which fits 3528, 2835, 5050, 5630 LED light strip, and any LED strip less than 12mm in width.
