Sure, tin isn't the sexiest metal but it's harder to find than you might think given that "tin cans" are really made from steel. Actually, very few household items contain much of this metal nowadays; its main industrial use being as solder and other alloys. Here's a small block of cast tin that has been lightly polished to create a handsome specimen. As usual, we put it in a perfectly clear Lucite cube suited as a standalone display or to go in our large elements display case.
