The 3M Speedglas Welding Helmet 9002NC with Auto Darkening Filter is designed for rugged, dependable protection at an affordable price. The 9002NC welding helmet can be used for MMAW, TIG, MIG, Tack, Plasma and arc welding as well as grinding. Featuring 3M Speedglas Natural Color Technology, the advanced auto darkening filter can adjust to your working conditions for a lighter, brighter and more realistic view of your welds. The new 9002NC auto darkening filter provides visibility to more contrast and natural looking colors than traditional auto darkening filters (ADF). A lighter weight modern design and slim profile means less constriction in tight spaces. A viewing area of 2.1 in x 4.2 in, light shade 3 and dark shades 8 through 12. Permanent UV/IR protection shade 12. ADF battery life of 2000 hours. 2 arc sensors. ANSI Z87.1-2010, ANSI Z89.1 and CSA Z94.3 approved.
