About Treadwell High Traction Adhesive Non Slip Stair
Treadwell Non-Slip Safety Tape/Treads provide instant traction to indoor and outdoor stairs and high usage flooring surfaces. Industrial grade 80-grit surface. PVC backing. Water resistant. Strips come rolled, so it is advised to unpackage them and allow them to unroll, or flatten with a weight. Please apply to a CLEAN, DRY, SMOOTH surface for optimal results. Coarse or porous materials such as plywood, brick or unpolished cement will possibly be too porous, resulting in poor adhesion. Please also make sure to apply the strips to a surface that is neither very warm or very cold, as it may affect the curing of the adhesive. It is recommended that the surface is tamped down after application and air pockets rolled out (either a roller or a filled 12 oz aluminum can will do). If using these strips on surfaces subject to regular shoveling please be sure to take care with shoveling to ensure that the strips are not accidentally scraped off.
