About Adam Equipment MDW-250L Digital Physician
The Adam Equipment MDW-250L digital physician scale measures the weight of a subject up to 250kg with an accuracy of 100g (also called readability), and the attached measuring rod can measure the height of a subject in 0.5-centimeter increments up to 210 centimeters for a comprehensive physical assessment. The indicator has a large backlit liquid crystal display that provides clear readings in bright or dim lighting. The metal platform measures 275 x 375mm (W x D), and has a top tread plate with a nonslip surface for safety. The metal base creates a durable foundation for use in gyms and hospitals, and provides stability for increased accuracy. The scale operates using AC power or the built-in rechargeable battery, offering full mobility for up to five hours. The auto off function can be enabled to power off the scale automatically after periods of inactivity to conserve power. The scale has an automatic external calibration system that ensures repeatable measurements, and an overload protection indicator prevents damage to the weighing cell by warning the user if the capacity is mistakenly exceeded. The scale tares over the full range and weighs in kilograms and pounds. The hold function can be programmed to freeze weight measurements on the display for a preset time limit, for recording weight measurements. The built-in RS-232 port connects to a computer or printer for recording data, and printing can be synchronized with the scale’s hold function to print automatically when the measurement is stable.
