Vega Bond V600 Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation Features

High Density, 2.2 pound, Two-component, Quick-cure Foam that Yields 600 board feet ( 600 sqft at 1 inch thickness).

Provides airtight seal and fills penetrations and cracks. Insulates rim joists, roof floor and rafters, wall junctures and around pipes and ducts.

Apply at 2 inches to have an effective vapor/mositure barrier.

R-Value R-7 per inch. Apply to your exposed walls such as basement, roof crawl space, foundation, on concrete or subgrade.

Canisters must be at 75°F or above before your application. Temperature matters tremendously and will impact the foam yield.

Closed Cell Spray Foams Kits come with Part A and B, Spray Nozzles, 15 ft Spray Foam Hose and Applicator Assembly, Safety Mask, Safety Coverall, Safety Glass, Gloves, Wrench, Petroleum Jelly. Instructions; How To Use Vega Bond V600 Spray Foam Kit. Wear your protective gear. This includes a safety mask, safety glass, gloves, and a protective coverall. Thoroughly clean and dry the area you want to apply the foam. Ensure the tanks are at optimum temperature, and if not, you can either allow them to cool down or warm them up. Do not use open flames or blow torch to warm the tank. You can do so by keeping them at room temperature or bringing them close to a radiator heater. Temperature should at least be at 75 F and above to get best yield. Prepare your spray foam insulation kit as specified on the manual by securely connecting the hoses to the tanks It does not matter what color goes on to part A or B. Then apply petroleum jelly on the spray gun before attaching the nozzle. Shake the canisters at least 60 seconds. Spray evenly on the intended surface by squeezing the trigger. Also, keep in mind that the spray foam rises in size and solidifies after a few minutes. Recommended thickness is 2 inches to get a solid moisture barrier. It is recommended that you change the nozzle after 8 minutes of continuous spraying or if you stop spraying for about 30 seconds.
