Overview Housing: Superior environmental sealing makes these heavy-duty connectors not only waterproof, but submersible as well. Intended for a wire-to-board system. The ready-to-use plug connector features a housing with a two-piece contact-holding design. This lock-in-place design provides terminal-position assurance against contact backout. After contacts are inserted into the housing, the housing snaps shut to firmly position all contacts. As added insurance against slippage, the connector will not shut unless all contacts are properly inserted. The lanceless receptacle contacts eliminate tangling during storage and handling and prevent damage to seals during assembly. Integral latch firmly holds mated connector halves together without the need for additional hardware. The solderable retention legs, or hold downs, keep the header assembly firmly attached to the board before soldering and mechanically fastened to the board after soldering Width : 33.6mm [1.323 in] Height : 34.6mm [ 1.362 in ] Length : 63.4mm [ 2.496 in ]
