Remove your existing shoe insole. Step 2. Replace the old insole with the Natural Foot Orthotics Cushion. Step 3. Insert your orthotic insole underneath the cushion. Step 4. You may need to trim the cushion for a perfect fit. And that’s it! Please note, some existing shoe insoles may have arch support built into them; this will work against an orthotic. The main reason to replace existing insoles with flat cushions is to enhance the performance of your orthotics, as they perform better on a flat surface.
