GTB-C COLLECTION: The distinctive horizontally split two-toned engine and oil pressure gauges found on one of the sleekest Ferrari cars from 1950Õs were the design inspiration for GTB-C Ð a new collection of timelessly elegant Scuderia Ferrari watches and chronographs. Their round sunray-textured dials, in classic tones of black, parchment or gunmetal, are handsomely detailed by a raised matching or contrasting metallic Racing Shield logo, printed minute ring and applied markers. Each sub dial eye is encircled by a narrow metal ring, a nod to the headlights of the 275 GTB (Grand Turismo Berlinetta) car, which are covered by Plexiglas¨ and bolted to the carÕs body with screws. Engine and oil pressure gauges on the Ferrari 250SWB California Spider inspired the distinctive horizontal split-eye design with red indicator hands. The 2-hand styles sport a split-eye small seconds sub dial at 6 oÕclock. Chronograph models feature split-eye timing sub-dials at 3 and 9, with a solid-color small seconds sub dial at 6, and a center-mounted red chronograph seconds hand. Crafted in solid, rose gold ion-plated, or two-toned gunmetal gray/rose gold ion-plated stainless steel, the cases feature fluidly sculpted multi-level lugs that echo the aerodynamic lines of a racing machine. GTB-C models are offered on a classic 7-row stainless steel link bracelet with brushed/polished finish and fold-over clasp, as well as on black or brown leather straps with rich crocodile graining, subtle top-stitching and shield logo-engraved classic tongue buckles that match the case.
