Product Description Use this bit set to make your own cedar strip canoe, hot tub, or lots of other curved shapes. The Anti-kickback design helps to ensure your safety when routing. Use both bits for fluting and beading 1/4-Inch Slats. Bits feature super-strength superior steel bodies, Non-Stick Orange Shield Coating and cutting edges made of SinterHip Hi-Density Industrial Chrome Carbide for a long-lasting performance. Not for use on hand-held router. Use them on router tables only. After a test performed by Wood Magazine, CMT orange bits have been rated the first overall router bits compared to other brands. The anti-kickback design feature ensures safety while you work. For fluting and beading 1/4 slats for a curved glue-up as shown below, use both the flute and the bead bits in the set. Perfect for cedar-strip canoes. These flute and bead bits come only as a set and the individual items are not sold separately. However, they can be paired up with other CMT bits for numerous other possibilities. To work thicker stock, up to 5/8, use the flute bit of the CMT Flute & Beat set 855.701.11 and the CMT Bull Nose bit with a 1/4 bead (854.502.11). The perfect combination to make flooring!
