About Casstrom No. 10 SFK Kit-Carbon Steel/Curly Birch
Now you can customize your own No. 10 by sculpting the curly birch 11mm thick, 4 3/4" x 1 3/4" slabs. The blade is 3 7/8" long and made using 3.8mm thick Austrian made O2 high carbon tool steel (Böhler K720) and heat treated to achieve a hardness of 58-60 HRC. The blade is ground with a shaving sharp flat Scandinavian grind and has a satin finish. After you shape your handle with the solid brass barrel nuts.
