Everything You Need: The BOLTARON 2-Piece Sheath Making Kit is a great way to go when you know what you want and only need enough material and parts to complete the design. This sheath making kit contains everything you need to make a thermoform sheath for the majority of knife sizes. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, this sheath making kit will provide you with a fantastic way to save time and money in your sheath making process.
(2) BOLTARON Sheet Size: (4 x 8) inches | Thickness: .080 inch: To use BOLTARON thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-375 degree Fahrenheit range and place over object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow it to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand edges to desired shape.
IWB SoftLoops: These are the original HolsterSmith brand IWB (inside-the-waistband) soft loops. They are used to securely hold a gun holster and/or knife sheath to the inside of your waistband. This soft mounting loop affixes to your sheath or holster with a standard post assembly mount (included) and has a 3-point adjustable, directional locking (Pull-the-dot) snap closure for ultra secure carry.
#8-9 Binding Eyelets (8-Pack): The #8-9 eyelet length is designed for binding materials with combined thicknesses from .160 inch up to .185 inch. This allows for the proper roll-over head flaring needed to securely bind the combined materials. The through-hole needed for this eyelet is 0.250 inches. With this diameter, the eyelet will press through the hole with minimum side-to-side play. This ensures that the materials being bound do not shift or misalign.
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed: With over 20 years of experience in developing holster making accessories, the thermoform sheet material line offered by HolsterSmith is unsurpassed in the holster making and accessory industry. Our thermoform sheet materials are used by professional soldiers, police officers, public safety individuals, and holster makers worldwide. Each DIY Sheath Making Kit is individually inspected and guaranteed for quality.
