The Ammex Heatworks HW4 air-activated emergency adhesive toe warmer is shaped to fit in the toe of a shoe, and provides heat to help keep toes warm for up to five hours. It produces heat by the oxidation of iron, which is activated upon exposure to air, with an average temperature of 135 degrees F and a maximum temperature of 156 degrees F. The toe warmer is suitable for use by winter sports enthusiasts, construction workers, and others who experience prolonged exposure to winter weather. An adhesive strip attaches to the ball of a sock to help keep the warmer in place.
