Quick Escape is a strong, light weight portable escape ladder with industrial strength ladder hooks that fit over most window sills so you can safely escape a fire. Quick Escape ladders come in 12 foot and 20 foot lengths to escape from second or third story windows. All include ladder stand offs for the stability. Rungs tested to 450 pounds per rung. Steel, slip-resistant rungs are grooved and heavy duty for added safety. Displaces 25 lbs. per sq. ft. Supports over 1000 pounds. Stand offs on EVERY rung to stabilize ladder during descent. Stand offs can be customizedEasy to install standoffs (for every rung) help stabilize ladder during descent. Last rung a different color. Step width: 12" wide. Bright red window sill handles fit walls or window sills: Up to 10". Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) vinyl instruction card affixed permanently to last ladder rung. Use corrugated box with reinforced handle as a storage case. Deploying Ladder: Hook window sill handles in place. Lower one rung at a time out the open window. Note: Setting up the fire escape ladder takes only enough strength to lift the hooks over the window sill.
