• ✨ Breather cloth is a non-woven polyester fabric that is designed to allow airflow throughout the vacuum bagging process as well as bleed out an excess resin in a composite part. It allows great conformity around a composite part while under vacuum pressure.

• ✨ Breather cloth's function is to allow air and volatiles to be removed within the vacuum bag and across the corner of the laminate or the mould. It is a very useful material in vacuum bagging and helps in maintaining the vacuum throughout the mould during the process.

• ✨Bleeder cloth is a thin, stretchable, high fill non-woven polyester that will easily conform to the contours of a part. It can be reused if a non-porous release film is used to prevent the breather from absorbing the resin. To control resin content of the laminate use a porous or perforated release film on top of the laminate to allow the resin to be absorbed into the bleeder cloth

Breather Cloth is a non-woven polyester fabric that is designed to allow airflow throughout the vacuum bagging process as well as bleed out an excess resin in a composite part. It allows great conformity around a composite part while under vacuum pressure. All the breather fabrics have been designed to produce good elongation in all directions, so that they can be draped easily over complex curvatures. This helps to minimise any bridging situations which may otherwise tend to occur. It is specifically designed to allow the vacuum to flow from the bag connector to the end of the tool or to bleed of resin from the laminate. Can be reused if a non-porous release film is used to prevent the breather from absorbing the resin. To control resin content of the laminate use a porous or perforated release film on top of the laminate to allow the resin to be absorbed into the bleeder cloth. Within your vacuum bagging lay-up, this Breather/Bleeder drapes easily over your laminate, directly below your bagging film, to serve two key purposes. As a Breather, it allows for vacuum pressure to be applied evenly across the entire surface of the laminate. It also permits any gases released during cure to escape. Use the 4 oz. format for applications working under 40 psi. As a Bleeder , both varieties absorb excess resin applied during the lay-up process.
