It is a one piece bracket (No welds), and guaranteed (for life) not to brake from the heavy vibrations. ***** We have these available in a 1" Axle mount, or buy this one which is a 1/2" shock mount. ***** They can be installed on the left or right side of your motorcycle. ***** JBSporty's half moon plate bracket is made to fit on any Motorcycle with a 1/2" or 1" mount area, but will fit on any Sportster, 48, 72, and Roadster but please note: the newer models will require rear fender removal to pull the old plate set up off, ((takes about an hour if you are experienced) or you can cut it off with a dremel kit. That would be a lot quicker, but is not recommended! ***** As you can see in the pics, this will give your bike that extreme custom look that everybody will compliment! *****
