Finally, a LED replacement for expensive and high-current GE Reflector bulbs used in common Aircraft Rotating Beacons. Our REFLECTOR-type LED Bulb is an ideal low-current, super-bright replacement. (Note that most beacons will not function properly unless a reflector bulb is used - the rotating effect is negated when a standard bulb replaces the GE-reflector bulb) Applications include: Rotating Beacons and Navigation Lights 3.0 Watts of power; Low power consumption (less than 220mA @13.8V) 14VDC and 28VDC compatible Reflector-type bulbs use a mirror-gloss reflector to concentrate and direct the lighting effect About 30% brighter than incandescent BAY15S base (center contact; 2 off-set side retainers - see diagram). This base fits most Grimes and Whelen Navigation light fixtures. Rated at 50,000 hours; Fully sealed glass dome Tested in Grimes and Whelen Navigation lights and Grimes rotating beacons.
