The PA-03 is our fundamental linear actuator making it an ideal choice for many projects. This electric actuator is an optimal choice when a high force, low current actuator is required. This cost-effective solution can be found in industries such as manufacturing and industrial automation. For a full list of specifications, customization options, and dimensional drawings, please see our PA-03 Data Sheet. 5 Tips to extend lifespan: -Ensure the force that is being experienced by the actuator's shaft is within the force rating of the unit you selected. -Allow the PA-03 actuator to have sufficient off time to cool down so that the motor does not overheat by staying within the 20% duty cycle rating (4 minutes on, 16 minutes off) -Install the actuator in a configuration that allows for the actuator to fully extend and fully retract completely so that it can reach the internal limit switches at the end of travel. -Shut off all electrical power to the motor once it is no longer being used to avoid any risk of motor burnouts due to the actuator not having full range to reach limit switches. -Avoid water damage and dust ingress by using the PA-03 actuators indoors to stay within their ingress protection ratings of IP43.
