OIL BEFORE USE: Apply non-stick baking spray, parchment paper or oil/butter/margarine before use. We recommend oiling the mold’s inner surface because we don’t use non-stick coating that usually releases toxic fumes when heated to high temperatures. On the contrary, we use durable enamel, the vitreous or glass coating that keeps your food and cooking environment safe from hazardous chemicals. We prefer health and safety over simple non-sticking!
