The RetroFit is an easy, snap in replacement mailbox door, ideal for brick or monument metal mailbox repair. Installs easy in less than 5 minutes. Once old door is removed, one good push of the RetroFit into the opening of the mailbox and you have a new working door! This mailbox door fits metal mailboxes with an opening of 8" wide and 10" in height. The Universal Mailbox Flag works on Brick, stucco, stone, wood, metal or plastic mailboxes. Included are fasteners for masonry, wood & metal/plastic mailbox attachment. Stands up to both Hot & Cold climates, and resists fading due to sunlight. Flag installation requires a 5/32" masonry rated bit, 3/16 metal rated bit or 5/32" rated wood bit. "Finger Grab" protects fingers while raising & lowering the flag. The RetroFit door does not work on plastic mailboxes.
