QuickTrak QTD double edge brake kit enables field retrofit to a QT wheel plate extrusion and provides a manual position locking brake to clamp the wheel plate onto a fixed location along the liner guide track. Made from hard anodized aluminum, the brake calipers flex to contact the upper surface of the QTD track. Locking handle is an adjustable position, similar to a ratchet, and can be moved while the clamp remains tight. Brake kit attaches to the extruded t-slot of the wheel plate using t-nuts and bolts. Kit contains a threaded rod cut to span the QTD track width, and all of the necessary mounting hardware. Included brake gauge is used during installation to set the proper gap between the brake caliper and the linear track.
