The increase in pressure will prevent the fuel injectors from being starved of fuel by the stock fuel pump which robs performance and causes the mechanical components inside the injector to fail. The blue spring kit is a popular upgrade in the 6.0L Powerstroke community and can be installed in 30 minutes with basic hand tools. After installation, most trucks will idle slightly quieter, rev up faster, and have quicker turbo spoil up.
