Original copper artwork (24in. W x 24in. H x 2in. D) - Oxidized copper on wood panel. Epoxy-resin matte finish. Ash wood floater frame. The Fjords Series is one of Colangelo's most popular collections. Various oxidization techniques have been utilized to bring out the deep blue and aqua tones. There is no paint involved in Colangelo's process - both color and texture is achieved through either heat or chemical oxidization. This original fine art piece is sealed with a thick coat of matte epoxy-resin which adds a thick clear finish, and protects the copper metal from any further oxidization.
