About Rocketarium Alamo AAM Flying Model Rocket

This highly-detailed Alamo military scale kit is excellent for small launch sites. It is a large and heavy model rocket. Ignite those slow launches that everyone can enjoy! Three (3) sets of fins and a tail cone give this scale model rocket kit lots of personality. The real Alamo is an Air-to-Air missile which targets just about anything that flies, including helicopters, drones and even other missiles! NATO has given this AAM missile the name AA-10 Alamo, it is also known as the Vympel R-27. Pick up this scale model of this medium-range missile today for some serious modeling fun. Challenges: For that true scale looking fins the Alamo fins must be tapered. There are a lot of small parts and decals, which will take a lot of time to apply. Requires Assembly. Wood glue, hobby knife, sandpaper, masking tape, primer and paint needed to build this rocket. Launch system with 3/16" Launch rod, Launch Controller and Rocket Motors needed to launch this rocket. The following rocket motors can be used: Estes D12-5, E12-6 or Aerotech E20-7, E15-7, F32-6, D15-4, E18-7, F24-7. D12-5 is recommended for the first flight.
