Description This brand new Mastech MS8200G is a professional fully featured digital multimeter. It measures AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, diode check and etc. One unique feature of this meter is its Mechanical Protection, which prevents user from incorrect inputs. Special sliding socket protection system covers incorrect banana jacks as function is selected. Only the correct sockets are exposed to accept banana plugs as rotary switch is turned. Examples: When voltage, ohms or capacitance selected, the socket for testing current is closed/covered. When current is selected, voltage is closed/covered.This is a great feature if this meter is being used by people who are new to multimeters, such as students and trainees.
