About PT-5042-00 : Black TUSQ XL 42 Mm Flat Bottom Strat
PT-5042-00 is a perfect replacement for fender style guitars. The bottom (adhesive side) does not angle to the fingerboard surface. Pre-slotted for minimal processing and immediate use. The BLACK TUSQ XL series moves and vibrates with the strings to create a thin Teflon membrane on the contact surface by friction. It works as a lubricant to prevent strings from being held more than needed, reducing the stress that tends to focus on one point. This makes the string less likely to cut and makes tuning more stable. The most efficient transmission of string vibrations to the body and brings out the original sound of your instrument from bouncy treble to rich bass. It has more mulsonic content than conventional ones and restores the wonderful sound that has been lost. [Note] For some products, the model number has been changed from -00 to -C0. Although the model number is mixed with the product, the part itself is not altered, it is the same product. Installation may require modification to fit individual instruments.
