About Guitar Fret Wire - Medium/Higher Size - Six Feet
This is six feet of beautiful, durable 18% nickel-silver fret wire, in handy pre-radiused 8-inch lengths. It has a slight radius (arc), which can be adjusted as necessary to match your instrument. This fret wire is identical to Stewart-MacDonald's #152 "Medium/Higher" fret wire, which is master luthier Dan Erlewine's favorite. This fret wire can be used to repair/replace frets on an existing guitar, or for new instrument building. The dimensions are as follows: Crown Width: .092" (2.34mm); Crown Height: .048" (1.22mm); Tang Depth (.062"). A slot width of .023" is recommended for best results when installing this fret wire.
