High Quality Capsules: Our capsules are made using the high-grade brass and Japanese imported mylar. They are manufactured with the most precise machinery to achieve higher sensitivity making them able to reproduce subtle sounds.

Extreme Low Noise Circuit: Our custom transformer less FET circuit is made with German capacitors and components with a tolerance as low as 1%. It features gold traces for high conductivity, great performance without distortion, and a noise floor of less than 10dBA.

Steel Body: Our microphone body and frame are made out of high-grade steel with an electrostatic painting process for the grill and end cap for a very smooth and shiny finish.

Strict Quality Control: Every Stellar X2 Vintage goes through our intensive testing procedure. This includes a frequency sweep test as well as a self-noise test to ensure every circuit performs within specifications. This is a pro mic, suitable for pro studio room but not others.
About TZ Stellar X2 Vintage Large-Diaphragm Cardioid
At the core of Stellar X2 Vintage microphone is the iconic U47 style capsule. This capsule produces a very warm, mid-focused sound that is soothing for many applications. The X2 Vintage’s frequency response is perfect for string instruments as it brings out the warmth and mids rather than the highs. As for vocals, it prevents any unwanted sounds such as sibilance. The X2 Vintage uses a high-quality JFET circuit similar to that found in the X2 but with a few modifications to improve noise floor and transparency. Just like our X2, the X2 Vintage’s capsule is made with the same tolerances and Japanese imported mylar with our proprietary gold sputtering technology that increases sensitivity and reduces thin sounds. Every Stellar X2 Vintage features a manually biased JFET and polarization voltage to ensure every microphone produces a high output signal and low distortion with a low self-noise. The head basket and end cap on the Stellar X2 Vintage utilizes electrostatic painting to provide a very smooth and shiny finish that will make it stand out in any microphone locker. All our microphones go through our intensive quality control process. This includes a frequency sweep test in our anechoic chamber as well as a self-noise test to ensure every circuit performs within specifications.
