This set is useful in practicing placing an NG tube as well as practicing trach care (cleaning and suctioning). During NG practice, The laminated torso provides a landmark to practice measuring to the xiphoid process. The head is able to tilt forward facilitating positioning patient with chin-to-chest. Fluid may be placed in the bottle enabling students to check placement by pulling back content. When air is inserted following placement a swoosh sound can be heard using a stethoscope.
