Felting needles types: -Triangular needles are the most common needle type and great for all kind of needle felting projects. They have 3 sides. -Spiral (twisted) felting needles are the same as triangular, but the blade is twisted. The twist needles lock fibers together very quickly; great for finishing off surfaces. -Star felting needles have 4 sides; as a result they have more barbs for quicker felting, and also more suited for work with course fibers; great for joining pieces together and for sculpting. -Inverted/Reverse felting needles have barbs that are cut in the opposite direction from other needles.
