Application instructions: 1.Measure length of your present defective cable. Determine style — top terminal, top terminal with regulator wire, side terminal, or switch to starter.2.If you cannot locate your size of battery cable use the next available longer length.3.Turn.off engine. Set parking brake.4.Disconnect negative (-) ground cable first, then disconnect positive (+) cable. Use a terminal puller to remove the old battery cable terminals from, battery.5.Remove other end of old battery cable from connection. Remove all corrosion. Connect new battery cable to that location.6. Remove all corrosion from battery. Place anti-corrosion pads over battery post.7.Reconnect positive (+) cable first and then negative (-) cable. Metal to metal contact is essential for a good connection. Tighten battery terminal bolts.
