About Aroundsquare Titan (Heavy Metal) Mini Begleri

The Titan begleri from Aroundsquare are dome topped, with a rounded bottom, and a straight barrel for excellent control and extremely smooth play. The Mini Titans feature the same design, shrunk down to a 16mm diameter (compared to the original 19mm for the titanium Titans, and 20mm for the aluminum version). The Heavy Metal series features this same bead design, but offers a range of materials at different weights. They are available in copper, brass, and stainless steel, and with optional knurling on the brass and SS versions. The optional knurling on these beads is much more aggressive than what is used on their titanium brothers... It runs the full height of the barrel, and is much deeper cut, which, although still very comfortable, gives these beads a much toothier feel, and provides great grip during play. The Mini Titans feature a slightly larger bore diameter than the originals, and slightly smaller than most of the 550-compatible sets we sell. This "Goldilocks" bore is not to big and not too small.. it works well with 275 paracord and does not feel sloppy, but it also works extremely well with 550 paracord. Provided your 550 cord is cleanly cut with a melted tip, it should be possible to insert the 550 without any special tools or setup, and a minimum amount of fiddling. Each set is pre-strung on a strand of 550, and is packaged with some spare 275 AND 550 in the box. The sets also come with a fistful of stickers and a canvas carry bag. Weight specs: Copper: 15g per bead Brass: 14g per bead Stainless: 13g per bead These beads feature our 3.5mm "goldilocks" bore, which is suitable for 275 and 550 paracord, although it may still take some effort to get 550 into the hole.
