About Wound Honey, Manuka Honey Wound Cream With Active
Eras Natural Sciences' Wound Honey is a topical product which has natural, powerful properties. The key ingredient to Wound Honey is Active Manuka Honey, imported directly from New Zealand. Active Manuka Honey is pure, natural, unpasteurized, organic honey that is collected from bees that have pollinated the Manuka aka Tea Tree Bush (Leptospermum), creating a powerful combination of honey and tea tree oil. In addition to Active Manuka Honey, Wound Honey contains natural Aloe Vera and Panthenol, a non-irritating form of Vitamin B which has moisturizing properties. Wound Honey is sterilized by gamma irradiation, which sterilizes the product without loss of any of its essential properties. True Active Manuka honey will be signified by a UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) number to designate its level of activity. As an ointment, a UMF of ten or higher is best. Wound Honey has an Activity rating or UMF of 12+.
