ControlOMatic MegaChlor Saltwater Chlorine Generator MegaChlor is a semi-automated saltwater chlorine generator that produces chlorine from a small amount of ordinary salt (sodium chloride) dissolved in water. The small addition of salt provides a softening effect on your water, adding gentleness on the skin. Using it's built-in timer, the MegaChlor adds small amounts of chlorine to the water every few hours so that you don't have to! By adding less chlorine more often, the MegaChlor provides more consistent water, without the spikes and drops of overchlorination and underchlorination. MegaChlor features two components: an easy-to-use control box that can be mounted to your pool/spa's skirt and a drape-over electrode. Since it drapes straight into the main body of water, you don't need to modify your swim spa or above ground pool. Add 25 pounds of salt per 1000 gallons of water, and then place the electrode in the tub. From there, just plug the power supply into a wall outlet, and your MegaChlor is ready to generate chlorine!
