Ridged Slats are designed to be used in 11 or 9 gauge chain link with a 2” diamond. They also work with 11.5 and 12.5 gauge chain link with a larger diamond, but the privacy factor will be less.Coverage: Each box covers about 10 linear feet of fence in chain link with a 2” diamond. Three pieces of Viper Channel are included with each unit. Chain link with a larger diamond will use fewer slats and provide less privacy. We suggest you purchase extra Viper Channel if your chain link mesh is over two inches.Details: Slats are about 3.5" shorter than the height of the fence to accommodate installation and protect the slats within the wire Privacy factor is about 85% (1.25" x 82 ÷ 120" = 85.4%) Slats are about 1.25" wide Designed for 9, 11, 11.5, and 12.5 gauge chain link with 2” to 2.375” diamond Made in the USA using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors - Suitable for hot or cold environments Limited 30 year warranty We are fencing professionals – Call us if you have an issue Installation: Insert the Viper Channel horizontally through the bottom of the first fully enclosed diamond of the chain link fence. Slide the slats through the diamonds from the top of the fence down towards the track at the bottom of the fence until it clicks into place. DO NOT WEAVE. Chain link is woven in a way that leaves a space for the slat to slide down through the fence. Damaged or bent chain link fence may need to be repaired to facilitate slat installation.
