However, for all installations we do recommend the addition of 4 standard 8 inch cinder blocks (can be purchased locally) placed evenly beneath its center. This will allow the grate to support anywhere from 100 to 1,000 pounds with no concern sagging or damage.

NOTE: If the platform is used to support any item weighing over 50 pounds, then cinder blocks should be added beneath the platform's center, allowing the grate to support almost 1,000 pounds. GREAT SIZE FOR A VARIETY OF USES: The hard plastic platform is about 2 feet wide, 4 feet long and 2 1/2 inches thick. It can be cut with a saw if necessary, such as to add a pump access door.
