Better control, more comfort — Fiskars XtendControl 16 ft. Interchangeable Tree Pruner shifts the weight of the pruner closer to your hands to increase control and reduce the fatigue of fighting a top- heavy tool. Featuring 4 interchangeable components, the pruner offers up to 5 unique configurations for full-pruning function in one compact, easy-to-store package. The X3 Saw blade has razor-sharp teeth and four distinctive sawdust notches for fast, smooth cutting and a distinctly angled design with top and bottom hooked ends for a more secure cut. A rotating pruning head is powered by a linear pulley system, easily cutting up to 1.25 in. and pivots up to 45 degrees, locking into place to reach tough angles. An attached cord reel keeps the cutting action taut and right at your fingertips, simply pull the handle for quick cuts. Two interchangeable extension poles are made of strong, durable and easy-to-maneuver aluminum with snap-fit connectors and secondary safety locks that keep components securely in place. Both poles extend from 4 ft. to 8 ft., and when combined, the poles reach a maximum extension of 16 ft. A metal locking insert prevents the poles from overextending.
