Square Catch Basin Drain Grate in galvanized steel works in tandem with a catch basin (with or without riser) or low-profile adapter to drain away heavy flows of surface water from driveways, parking lots, and landscaped areas for proper release downstream. Drain grates, also known as drain covers, keep your pipeline clog-free and running smoothly. The 12 in. drainage grate attaches to a catch basin, riser, or low-profile adapter to collect excess surface water, and connected to drain pipes, direct water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench. The 12x12 catch basin drain grate is made of rust-, corrosion-, and weather-resistant galvanized steel. Features a 113.8 sq. in. open surface area and 348 GPM flow rate. The drain cover is rated for NDS Class C (H-20) loads (up to 325 psi) when properly installed.
