Also, unlike digital garden thermometers, it does NOT require batteries to operate! The Garden Weasel Soil & Composting Thermometer features a large 3-inch dial face that is easy to read from a distance and is protected in a stainless steel housing with a fade-resistance glass lens. The detail is threaded to the probe (0.5” NPT) to allow for an optional probe handle installation (handle sold separately).
