Picea abies | Common spruce | single portrait digital photograph | fine-art print | size 70 cm x 50 cm Trees (lat. arbor) take centre stage in my work. The "Arboretum" project is a collection of Tree-Portraits with the idea to isolate the tree from its surrounding. As a result of this abtraction the trees show their properties (color, form, proportion, etc.) very precisely and intensive. The missing roots are replaced by a grafic element including name, leaf-form and location (coordinates). Also available in 100 cm x 70 cm and 50 cm x 40 cm.
