512HZ Pipe Locator Receiver, Underground Pipeline Features

  • High Efficiency: Using the 512Hz transmitter, the position of the probe can be easily determined. Save time and money and take advantage of this great feature.

  • LED Screen: This pipeline detection locator is equipped with an LED display screen. You can see the monitoring data more clearly, convenient and practical.

  • Wide Application: This product can be used in water supply pipelines, cable pipelines, pipeline vacuum systems, industry pipelines, underground pipeline construction, underground cave exploration, underwater research and other exploration work.

  • High Quality Material: This 512Hz pipe receiver is made of high quality ABS material, suitable for underwater survey work, waterproof and durable, can be used for a long time.

  • Built in Induction Coil: The receiver has a built in induction coil to receive the magnetic signal from the pipe, and the coil generates an induced current to calculate the orientation and position of the transmitter.

About 512HZ Pipe Locator Receiver, Underground Pipeline

Specification Item Type: Sewer Camera Locator Material: ABS Gross Weight: 2049g / 72.3oz Working Frequency: 512Hz Modulation: None Batteries: 6 AA alkaline batteries (shipped without batteries) Use Time: 4 hours intermittent use Audio Output: 50-1000Hz depends on signal strength Operating Temperature: -20°C to 60°C Product Size: 548x65x50mm / 21.6x2.6x2.0in Sensor: Separate angle sensor for peak and 0 signals How to Use: General layout 1.Power on and off (long press to power on; long press to power off) 2.A near or far switch controls overall sensitivity. The far position is recommended when starting to position the probe. When you are close to the transmitter and the meter goes to full scale and you cannot desensitize any further, switch to Near to pinpoint its precise location. 3.Meter Indicators: Indicates the strength of the peak signal (right) and 0 signal (left). 4.Speaker: Allows you to hear the transmitter's signal beeps or continuous sound, depending on the transmitter use case. 5.Battery Indicator: Displays battery health status. 6.Instructions for use: Adjust the locator near or far switch and signal + or ‑ according to the actual environment to make the locator better match the transmitter. 7.It is recommended to set to Far mode (Signal is set to 9) at the beginning. When the LED screen shows that the signal is very strong, reduce the signal sensitivity level (you can hear a louder sound at the same time), and then you can narrow the detection range. Package List: 1 x Host 1 x Receiver 1 x Manual 1 x Aluminum Case Note: The 512 has only one mode, the sonde mode. Receiver in sounding mode. Search for signals emitted by a small detector or camera with a built‑in transmitter that has been routed through a duct. The detector must emit a 512Hz signal, and the receiver can determine the approximate depth of the target. Start by turning the receiver on, walking around, keeping the receiver at waist height, and walking in the general direction of the transmitter while slowly sweeping the receiver back while pointing in the direction of the transmitter. You will notice that the signal will get bigger. As you get closer, reduce the sensitivity as needed to keep it within range. Toggle the switch to Nearby when you can't keep the meter below full scale. Continue in the direction of stronger signal. When you get to the point where the signal seems to be the strongest, whichever direction you move will make it weaker, then you know you've found a detector that's just below the center of the mast. Move to another place, look for this peak signal again, and see if you always come back to the same place for confirmation. If you followed each step correctly, you should find yourself above the launcher every time. Keep practicing until you get consistent results.
