~ 6" Large Pot, Large Enameled Cast Iron Features

  • High quality cast iron cauldrons are an indispensable tool for the typical altar or ceremonial workspace. They serve best in holding anything requiring smoldering or for any long spellwork sessions involving candles.

  • Use them for smoldering sage, incense, etc., as a container for candles, for scrying, as an oil diffuser, for potpourri, etc. Cauldrons are believed to represent receptivity, grace, and transformation.

  • Like most modern, good quality cast iron cookware, they have an enamel coating and are much less prone to rust, remaining food-safe with less maintenance (i.e. seasoning). Enameled cast iron is preferred by many for it's look and ease of care. Each pot includes a lid and a metal handle. Inside diameter is roughly 5.4". Only the wire handle is painted black. Occasionally apply a light layer of vegetable oil to prevent rusting, after drying thoroughly.

  • Triquetra: A protective symbol. The Holy Trinity. The self at the center of the whole. Trinity Knot or Celtic Triangle. Existing in unity with all. Power from being in accordance with all.

  • Measures Approx. 5.9" (15 cm) wide (outer rim to outer rim diameter), 6.29" (16 cm) high (including lid), 5.2" or 13 cm tall without lid, 5.3-5.4" (13 cm) inner diameter of pot (inner rim to inner rim).

About ~ 6" Large Pot, Large Enameled Cast Iron

Triquetra: A protective symbol. The Holy Trinity. The self at the center of the whole. Existing in unity with all. Also known as the Trinity Knot or Celtic Triangle. The protective circle interweaves in an unbroken flow, symbolizing the eternal life of the spirit. In ritual/meditation, it represents the self at the center of all, protected and acting in unity. Maintenance and Washing: Whereas regular cast iron has to be seasoned to stop it from rusting; enameled does not. The enamel forms a protective layer. Applying a light layer of oil is beneficial but not necessary. Hand washing with warm soapy water and a nylon (non-scratchy) sponge is recommended. Prolonged exposure to fire will burn off the enamel, in which case the cast iron would need to be coated with oil on a regular basis, like regular cast iron. Treat it as you would all modern (i.e. enameled) cast iron cookware.
