About Meliora Cleaning Products Laundry

"128 Loads for High-Efficiency (HE) washers or 64 loads for standard washing machines. No fragrance, dyes, preservatives, brighteners, or secret ingredients. Meliora Cleaning Products Laundry Powder is your go-to option to make your laundry better. 1/2 Tb for HE, 1 Tb for standard machines Ingredient List: Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Carbonate, Vegetable Soap [Sodium Cocoate, Glycerin, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Water] All scents are derived entirely from Certified Organic Essential oils Net Weight 35 oz. Detailed Ingredient Info: Sodium Bicarbonate: Also known as baking soda; an odor neutralizer. Sodium Carbonate: Also known as washing soda or soda ash; a pH adjuster. It raises the pH of the washing water, for more effective cleaning. It's often referred to as a laundry 'booster'. Vegetable Soap consists of: Sodium Cocoate: The chemical name of saponified (made into soap) organic coconut oil. It grabs onto both dirt and water to leave your clothes clean. Glycerin: A type of alcohol, naturally created when oil is converted into soap. Known for its skin-softening abilities and as an effective solvent, glycerin can dissolve substances such as stains and dirts. Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: There is a small amount of organic coconut oil left in the soap after conversion to sodium cocoate. This is because we use sodium hydroxide, or lye, to make soap. Leaving excess oil ensures there is no lye in the finished product. Our coconut soap has only a small amount of excess oil, so it is not the luxurious body soap, but more of a "get the job done" soap. Water: Water is used to dissolve the lye and allow it to mix evenly with the oil to react. The water then evaporates over a period of several weeks. The resulting dried soap has only about 5% water. This makes our soap more shelf-stable than liquid soap, which require a preservative due to high water content (about 60%)."
